A classic piece of American mid-century design: the Planner Group coffee table by Paul McCobb, made by Winchendon Furniture Company of Massachusetts. The Planner Group was known for clean lines, honest construction, and solid wood that suits almost any room. This rectangular table has a plank top and slender tapered legs that angle out slightly, giving it a light, open look that pairs easily with a sofa, lounge chairs, or a mix of vintage and modern pieces.
No label. Unmarked Planner Group pieces are incredibly frequent because Winchendon Furniture used paper or foil foil labels that easily dried up, fell off, or were sanded away during previous touch-ups over the last 70 years.
Condition: In very good restored condition. Restored in a more natural tone. This was originally black lacquer so you may notice some signs of black on underside.
