Teak side table with sling designed by Henning Wind-Hansen for Sika Møbler during the 1960s. Often mis-attributed to Kai Kristiansen.
Solid teak framing with a textured suede/leather sling.
Designed by Wind-Hansen and manufactured by his own close-by workshop (Wind Hansens Møbelfabrik) specifically for Sika Møbler. The piece is highly regarded for its minimalist architectural frame, signature sculpted handle-style side rails, and a suspended suede or linen sling compartment designed to hold newspapers, books, etc.
In very good original condition and recently oiled.
