Crewdson first found the property through a friend and rented it for a summer. “As soon as I first walked into the church, I knew I could live here and renovate the firehouse next door to be my studio,” Crewdson says. His furnishings are all locally sourced: the furniture from Circa and the rugs and linens made by Pine Cone Hill, both located in Pittsfield.
