Description

A handsome vintage Danish oak cabinet with the kind of detail that sets it apart from the usual low storage piece. Each door is inset with a chevron-patterned oak panel, framed by a clean border, and finished with original brass pulls. The warm, deep oak tone and the substantial turned legs give it a quiet, old-world character that sits comfortably in modern, traditional, and eclectic rooms.
Attributed to Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf.
The cabinet sits on sturdy turned and faceted legs with a stretcher apron below the case, which keeps it light and airy to look at while still feeling solid. Two doors open to a roomy interior for storage which includes a single adjustable shelf.
Its compact proportions make it very flexible. Use it as a bar cabinet, entry console, media or record storage, a bedside or end table, or a small sideboard in a dining nook.
When the shelf is removed there is plenty of room to store albums.
In good vintage condition with some minor age appropriate wear visible. Doors do lift off of hinges and they open and close nicely.
Dimensions:  33.25″ W x 17.5″ D x 25.75″ H
