1950s Club Chair designed by Boston Designer Lawrence ‘Larry’ Peabody and manufactured by the Richardson Nemschoff Company.
This chair has been recently reupholstered in a white & blue flecked upholstery. Frame has been oiled but some minor wear from age and use may be present. Sits firm(new foam) but comfortable.
Very stylish floating style base in solid walnut.

**About the Designer**
Lawrence Peabody was born in Haverhill, MA in 1924.He studied at RISD in Providence and earned his BA in 1950 and went on to study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He returned to Boston and opened his business in 1955, Lawerence Peabody & Associates. Some of his designs had a heavy Danish influence most likely from his studies abroad. He passed away at the age of 78 in 2002.
