1960s Walnut Credenza by Jens Risom. Solidly made and great design. Features sculpted black drawer pulls and a hanging file drawer. Stunning and classic piece of Midcentury furniture.
Very good to excellent vintage condition with minor flaws from age and use.

**Jens was a Danish American furniture designer and one of the first designers to introduce Scandinavian design in the United States. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and most recently lived in New Canaan, CT until his death at the age of 100 in December of 2016.
Jens studied under Ole Wanscher & Kaare Klint at the Copenhagan School of Arts & Industrial Design. He was classmates with Borge Mogensen and Hans Wegner. Jens was drafted into the US Army in 1943 and served under General George S. Patton.
He launched his own company, Jens Risom Design in 1946 in NYC.
Without doubt one of our favorite designers.
