This was part of Drexel’s first line of Modern Furniture which was first introduced on the market in 1947 and was featured in House & Garden in their August issue.

Designed by Edward Wormley, a renowned American designer known for blending traditional craftsmanship with modernist design.

Constructed of elm and beech wood and brass plated “curled bar” pulls on the drawers. Features Clean and simple lines with a plinth base.

Pieces from the “Precedent” collection are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century modern furniture due to their quality, design, and historical significance.

Condition: in very good to excellent original condition with some minor age appropriate wear to exterior cabinet and brass pulls.
