Vintage Danish Teak Sideboard with Sliding Doors by HG Furniture, 1960s. Designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen for Hansen & Guldborg, Denmark. This small Mid-Century Modern teak sideboard /cabinet is part of the HG Wall unit system. The legs were added at a later time. Most of the wall unit systems are broken down in Denmark before being shipped to the US and repurposed as credenzas, bookcases, sideboards etc.
This one features 4 adjustable shelves to be used on the right or left side of the cabinet.
This would make a great media piece/record cabinet etc.
On the backside you can see where the hooks remain that were used to attach this piece to the wall unit system.
Very good to excellent condition with minor wear from age and use.
