Description
Designed by Ingo Maurer and Dagmar Mombach, the Samurai Table Lamp pays homage to Isamu Noguchi and his creations inspired by the traditional Japanese craft of Akari. Standing out due to its irregular shape resembling a flower’s calyx, it is made of natural colored paper with two center stainless steel bars accommodated in the center and in the bottom next to its steel stand. The paper structure is made with a unique handmade technique that involves the manipulation of plain sheets of paper by pulling and folding. The Samurai Table Lamp brightens a room like a delicate sculpture ideal to be used on nightstands and sideboards or other living spaces.
Has a floor switch with sizable cord.

The shape of each lamp is unique and no two are the same – the creases, wrinkles and folds of the paper are part of the design.
