Description
Ben Seibel Orb bookends in brass. Pair of rounded sculptural brass over white metal bookends with cutout handles. The warm patina to the brass plated finish shows some scuffs and scratches from age and use.
Retailed by Jenfred-ware of New York in the 1950s-1960s.
Seibel, after studying painting, sculpture and architecture, set up his own studio in Post- War Manhattan where he worked with a small staff until his death in 1985.
