This is probably one of the most naturally beautiful coffee tables we have ever had. IMO.
This is from the mid 1950s and the top and legs have been refinished. The caning is original.
This is being attributed to the AT-10 Coffee Table by Hans Wegner. The family that purchased this along with many pieces from their home in the mid to late 1950s when they travelled to Denmark. All of the furniture was on the higher end of quality and design.
Although the caning has a few breaks(see photos) it is all original and matches the patina to the time period. New caning in my opinion is not of the same quality and appears very “NEW” looking and throws off the esthetic of an early designer piece.
51″L, 20.25″W at middle and tapers to 18″W at ends, stands 21.5″ tall
