Unique Lowboy Dresser for Johnson Carper ‘Fashion Trend’-featured on the “I Love Lucy”Show

This collection is very unique said to have been designed by  Edmund Spence for Johnson Carper and was featured on the ‘I Love Lucy” Show as one of the bedroom sets. It was one of the first product placements on a TV show. See ads in photos. 

Very good construction with dovetailed drawers, nice clean oak interiors, contrasting splayed walnut base/legs and matching metal splayed drawer pulls.

This line was made in 1953 and is very hard to find.

Very good to excellent condition, lighter strip on back side of top from where a mirror sat. Mirror is available.
