A sculptural vintage walnut side table from Gunlocke Chair Co. of Wayland, New York. The splayed, tapered legs are the main feature. They flare out from the apron at an angle and give the table a light, almost floating look, while the solid frame keeps it sturdy. The top has softly rounded corners and a gentle overhang, and the wood has a warm, even tone.
It’s a good size for next to a sofa or lounge chair, as a bedside table, or in an entry or reading corner. The gunlock tag is present.
Condition: the top has been restored and the legs show some minor wear from age and use.
