Large vintage 2 piece teak sideboard with hutch top designed & produced by Poul Hundevad of Denmark.
This piece has so much storage to offer and is well made with high quality materials. The top hutch section simply sits on top of the lower sideboard. This piece technically can be used as two separate pieces as we have shown in the photos. Features 14 adjustable shelves, 2 glass doors, 4 rolling tambour doors, 4 slide out “trays” which can be arranged in different configurations. 2 of the trays are felt lined.
Excellent condition with very little wear from age and use. Minor marks along edges from age and use.

About the designer:
Hundevad was born in Vamdrup in 1917. He trained as a carpenter before establishing his cabinet making shop and furniture factory, Hundevad & Sons in the early part of the 1950s. Hundevad favored high-quality materials, such as rosewood & teak, and created furniture that was aesthetically clean and simple, yet multifunctional for daily use. He was known to be an expert in joinery.
