1960s Oak Credenza / Sideboard designed by Kurt Østervig for VAMO Mobler. Østervig (1912-1986) began his career as a naval architect in Odense, Denmark before changing career paths in favor of design, quickly becoming one of Scandinavia’s leading modern furniture designers of the mid-20th century. Designed by Ostervig and well-crafted by VAMO Sonderborg in sturdy oak, Ostervig’s material of choice, stained in a warm finish.
Two adjustable shelves in each side cabinet space and 2 felt lined drawers in the center storage space.
REALLY well made with quality materials, keys included and danish control stamp present inside cabinet. Stamped on verso.
Some minor dings and nicks from age and use but overall presents very well and is in very good condition. Super clean interiors.
