A clean, simply built Danish teak bookcase with the warm grain and quiet proportions that make Scandinavian pieces easy to place. The teak-veneered case has a matching teak back panel, so the grain shows through behind whatever you display. Shelves are adjustable and slide on thin wire supports instead of resting on pegs. Three open compartments give you generous space for books, plants, and objects.1960s vintage.
The case sits on solid teak round tapered legs, and the slim base rail gives it a light, floating look. It’s slim and upright, so it fits in places a larger bookcase wouldn’t: a hallway, an entry, a corner, a bedroom, or against a wall in a living room.
Condition: In very good vintage condition. The teak has a warm, even tone and the structure is solid, with no wobble or loose joints. It shows minor cosmetic blemishes consistent with age, including a couple of small chips in the veneer. These don’t affect use and are the kind of small marks you’d expect on a vintage piece.
